 TECHNOLOGIES

For years, IFA has been a reference in terms of technological innovations that reach Europe. And although, increasingly, manufacturers are betting on making war on their own and presenting their novelties away from the big fairs, there is room for the most impressive bets.

And now that IFA 2018 is over, we take a look at the hottest tech news coming from Berlin. 10 technological gadgets to which we want to take the glove ... Regardless of the price.

Acer Predator Thronos

The new chair (or throne, rather) that every gamer would like to have at home. A true beast of 1.5 meters in height, space for three 27-inch monitors and an ergonomic seat that tilts up to 140ยบ. Everything adds up to a set that reaches 220 kilos in weight! By the way, the computer and monitors will not be included in the pack. The price? For now nothing is known ...

Samsung Q900FN 8K

Despite the fact that in Spain we barely dominate 4K, we already have here ... 8K. That's right, because Samsung presented its first 85-inch 8K TV with QLED technology at IFA 2018. For now, it will only be marketed in the United States starting this fall (for a price not yet disclosed). The new Q900FN 8K will have four times more pixels than a 4K television, plus a superior backlight (4,000 nits) and a brighter color palette and greater depth of blacks. The question is whether we will notice the difference ...

 LG 8K

LG could not pass up the opportunity offered by IFA 2018 either and also revealed its commitment to 8K at the fair (something that it already anticipated at CES in Las Vegas). In the case of the Korean brand, its smart TV reaches 88 inches and (attention) 33 million pixels. The big difference between Samsung and LG is in the technology used for the screen: in the case of LG they opt for OLED because, according to them, it allows them to achieve a "purer" black. Of course you already know, comparisons are hateful ...

Harman Kardon

The market for smart speakers does not stop growing and the bet (increasingly clear) is to improve the sound experience. That's why the most recognized audio manufacturers are going for their piece of the cake. Harman is one of them and presents its Kardon Citation 500 speaker. It has an output power of 200 watts in stereo, 24Bits / 96Khz HD sound quality and can be controlled with Google Assistant or through a small LCD that integrates in its upper part . In the connectivity section, it has Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi. Its price will be around 649 euros ... Under the promise of a more than superior sound.
