. Unmanned aircraft to make deliveries
In the not too distant future, we could start to see drones making home deliveries. One of the companies that has unveiled its plans to deliver via drones is Amazon (update: Google recently gave signs that it may be ahead of the ecomm giant), who has already started testing using this method. One of the biggest impediments that has stopped this idea from becoming a reality and launching on a large scale is regulation, rather than being a technological impediment, it is more of a limiting factor to using delivery drones as airspace must be regularized. where the drones will operate, which cannot be done overnight, but could be resolved in the next two to three years.
